This organization was built from years of hands-on experience in special education—and a deep commitment to what happens next for students beyond the classroom.

Our Founder, Brittany Rudd, has served in multiple roles across the field—from paraprofessional to teacher, to instructional leader and transition specialist—working directly with students with disabilities in both school and community settings.

Through those experiences, she began to notice an opportunity.

Students had transition plans.
Goals were in place.

And while strong work was happening in schools, there wasn’t always enough time or space for consistent, real-world practice.

As a result, some students needed additional opportunities to apply their skills in everyday settings—building confidence through experience.

That realization became the starting point.

Rather than seeing it as a limitation, she saw it as an opportunity to extend the work—partnering with families, educators, and the community to create meaningful, hands-on experiences that support student growth beyond the classroom.

And through that work, one belief became clear:

Independence is built through practice, experience, and consistency.

We exist to strengthen and support the transition process by bridging planning with real-world application.

Our role is not to replace what schools are doing—but to extend it.

Through hands-on, real-world learning experiences, we help students build the skills, confidence, and independence needed to navigate everyday life beyond school.
